Since its founding, Texas REALTORS® has helped shape the real estate market in Texas through its involvement in local and state politics. 

REALTORS® have fostered a positive environment to do business through the support of like-minded candidates and policies and through opposition to measures that could harm private property rights. 

That work continues to this day.
