You’re responsible for supervising your agents. That means making sure they’re trained and competent to perform your brokerage activities. How do you ensure your agents can close transactions and bring in business in an ethical, professional way?
Your membership in Texas REALTORS® gives you and your agents access to high-quality, vetted educational resources. Are you connecting your agents with these benefits?
Hundreds of CE Classes
Texas REALTORS® partners with instructors and local boards to offer a wide variety of continuing education courses.
In addition to required courses like TREC Legal Update I and II, there are specialized topics you and your agents can choose from, including farm & ranch, commercial, fair housing, working with veterans, and in-depth looks at contracts
These classes are held online or in person around the state.
Every one of the over 500 courses listed on the Texas REALTORS® website has been approved by TREC, so you and your agents will take home CE credits with your training. Texas REALTORS® regularly adds new sessions. Be sure to check out upcoming courses at texasrealestate.com/findacourse.
State and National Certifications and Designations
You and your agents can also earn designations and certifications while developing your skills. Encouraging your agents to become competent in more subjects helps your brokerage to serve more clients and helps mitigate your liability as they conduct transactions.
Texas-specific accreditations include the Texas Accredited Commercial Specialist, the Texas Affordable Housing Specialist, Texas Residential Leasing Specialist, and others. See what’s available at texasrealestate.com/designations.
